Mehedi Hasan Miraz of Bangladesh has become highest wicket-taker in Under-19 ODIs

Miraz had 72 wickets before the Bangladesh colts took on Namibia in Cox’s Bazar in the Under- 19 World Cup on Tuesday.
In his third over, Miraz took the wicket of Michael van Lingen to register his 73rd wicket and matched Pakistani bowler Imad Wasim's record.
It took Pakistan’s Imad 49 matches to score 73 wickets while Miraz bowled in 53 youth ODIs to touch his record.
Miraz had to wait for some time to grab his record-breaking wicket. He took out tailender Warren van Wyk as Bangladesh skittled Namibia out for a measly 65.
Bangladesh youths now hold both the records of highest runs and highest wickets in the age group.
On his way to an unbeaten century, Nazmul Hossain Shanto had posted the record of the highest runs in the previous match against Scotland.
